It is a little cooler today. We have sun and blue sky. I do not think it will get hot today. It is very confortable.

Wow, I wish I could send the sunshine to the UK. We are in the midst of the worst drought since the dust bowl days of the 1930's. I live in a fairly rural area and it is just sad to see all of the crops just withering and burning up.

We've been having afternoon thunderstorms... sometimes it's too hot to rain, sometimes not. Things are lush and green here even though it's July.

I'm just back from a dog walk. The sun is out although it is still cloudy.

We had rain yesterday and it is suppose to rain today!!! Never thought I would get excited about rain, but it is the things that are taken for granted that are not noticed until they are gone.

2 days in a row that we did not use our air conditioner. It is supposed to be 90 degrees today. We do not have the fan on or the door open yet. It will be a very comfortable day. I am so glad. I hate the intense heat. But I am grateful for the sun

It worked. The sun came out on Saturday and it is still wonderful, warm and sunny. I'm going to go and sit in the garden and for once the umbrella will be used for sun shade and not rain and I will put my feet up and read my book.
