I saw Avenged Sevenfold once. They were supporting Iron Maiden at Twickenham.
I'm open to all sorts of music, really, though I have a preference for music with an enjoyable melody and/or lyrics that tell an interesting story.
As far as rock goes I don't really go for Alternative, prefering Classic Rock and Old-School Heavy Metal like Sabbath, Maiden and Dio, all of whom I've seen live, having discharged myself from hospital to see Dio. Just as well, too, as that was his last gig in this country.
I will admit to having absolutely no idea what 'Grunge' is, beyond being something that happened in the US in the '90s while we were stuck with stuff like Oasis and Blur.
