Political Venting

I like Trump, I think he is needed to sort out some of the crap going on. He just doesn't care what people think, and mostly tries to do what he believes is right for the greater good. I think all leaders get confused in that self argument, but that just makes them all equally as shite as one another. I find it funny, for the most part.

He's a rapist. Not much to like.

Trump seems to be good at some things and terrible at other things and quite frankly he does talk alot of nonsense 🙄. In my opinion he does come across as an idiot quite often. His latest remark about the British armed forces was factually incorrect and obnoxious/offensive. I think in some ways he is good at getting some things done but can also be quite dangerous. Take for example killing drug smugglers on boats. Don't just kill them, capture them and proscecute them within the law.

I used to watch him on the news to see what was going on but quite often now it's too cringeworthy. I'm the kind of person that sees "the big picture" of the global world but there's alot of cruelty and a lack of compassion right now. It's hard to swallow. And another thing, Putin constantly targeting civilians...what an Asshole.

I don’t, and I have a number of reasons why that I argue are just too many fundamental issues in one person, and by proxy administration, that can only reliably be summed up as structurally unsound at best.

I don’t like the rhetoric he uses of “us against them” when he speaks about his citizens, something I have a problem with both ends of the political spectrum. I don’t like the casual speech and attitude he portrays even on the global stage - while I can excuse most citizens for not having a full grasp on the details of policy, due process, taxes and the general technical nitty gritty of our government, I cannot extend the same to someone who took the position as the leader of so great a state. There are an embarrassing number of instances where he has had to be corrected on his claims towards legal rights, process and tariffs. His flippant attitude towards taking accountability for disregarding the rules and regulations that were established to prevent the abuse of power - just because he feels validated by doing so, is inexcusable. I think a president of some 345,000,000 people, 6 time zones, and the world’s largest economy - should have some decorum of how his behavior and decisions are perceived.

I don’t like him. But I will say, in amongst some of the utter bullshit, he makes some very salient points.
Europe, which I love dearly, did need an almighty kick up the backside and I think few people could have managed that. Do I like the method. No. Do I like the madness. No. Must I accept that he does raise some points I cannot help but agree with - yes.

I don’t like identity politics and all this black/white/no grey zone politics. It’s doing nothing for anyone.

A year ago the most powerful man in the world and the richest man in the world were busy taking aid money away from the most vulnerable and in need people in the world. Many were children, all were in danger.
That alone would be the end of most political careers. It would be the wikipedia entry, it would be the historical overview for most administrations in my lifetime (kennedy on).
The atrocities just pile up. Every week, sometimes everyday, he throws more fuel on the anti trump fire.

it's the easiest shortcut to leadership ever, most of us see it and see how weak it is back in kindergarten.
the rules of the playground according to Homer Simpson: Always make fun of anyone different from the others, never say anything unless you know the people nearby will agree with it, and never be a rat. Cheap power 101.

Thinking people know real power is earned through a career of making hard decisions and showing your worthiness to carry the horrible responsibility of power. It has it's faults but it is the best power the voters have, to find it and elect it.

Or you can point and call people names and hope everyone laughs and doesn't want to be like "them".

He won an election based on my peers not wanting to be like the people from california that wanted prisoners to be allowed sex changes and for trans boys to play basketball against our high school daughters. He won an election based on the fears of the people that didn't want to be like "them".

He's a senile, drug-addicted, illiterate, draft-dodging paedophile who has literally no concept of the greater good.

You know of the court case because it was in the global news.
And he was not convicted of rape. So yes, I know of it. That makes it defamation. They didn't have the evidence and then the fake news published, and concentrated, on a remark made by a far left judge that they thought Trump did it, even though the evidence was not there for them to prosecute it.

That was political. Just like all the other nonsense they threw at him to try and stop him coming President again. Never in US history has the Government ever tried so hard to stop someone from becoming President as they did with Trump.

Trump is many things. He has a big mouth, he is not Presidential, he says a lot of stupid things, but the stuff they pulled on him to try and stop him, that was ridiculous and showed how broken the system is.
