There's a lot of political discussion here and it's no surprise everyone has their concerns about the political climate right now.
Politics inflames so much emotion to a point of outright rage and has a deep impact upon people's mental health.
However. The shape of our world-wide political climate is something for all to be concerned about, because whatever happens in the world, especially with all the conflict going on, the effects are long-lasting as the ordinary, working class people pay the price.
Not to mention those (often forgotten) caught up in conflicts who may never recover from their ordeal.
Today, there's so much available news... What is true? What are the lies?
What is certain?...
Media manipulation. Distortion of events to confuse, incite a beleaguered, vulnerable public.
Politics, like any other discipline, is complex and beyond the scope of knowledge for many of us, yet one becomes aware of a pattern.
It's trying to step away from the noise, peel back to the underlying core of all the troubles, then work out a solution to help guide so many people who have lost hope.
We don't need reminding that the most wealthy are profiteering from the all the troubles in the world right now.
Let's be honest. What usually happens... People read or watch the news about wars, tragedies, disasters and so on... Then continue with their morning tea and toast.
Until the tragedy of war causes disruption to services and prices rise. Then people get angry.
At present. We are merely spectators in any crisis and the public who reside in our lands such as the United Kingdom, want it that way. They also want to be free of the financial consequences of war, which unfortunately cannot be achieved.
Whatever country we live in, whether it be a modern, capitalist democratic land, an authoritarian regime or the country is just down right broke and suffering severe poverty, one thing is for sure...
The governments and their wealthy supporters take all the wealth and the people are left with nothing... This is a journey that we, in the United Kingdom are following, yet many are either oblivious, defeated, angry yet accepting of the situation.
The governments and their prospective successors work hand in hand with the media, creating conflict amongst an already embattled, disillusioned public in order to achieve the ultimate goal... Of isolating their country.
As we are already aware, there's a mental health crisis growing by the day, a public/state health crisis, an ever growing crime crisis, a social care and welfare crisis, a pensions crisis and whatever else you can think of.
These problems are not going to go away, they are forever growing, as more people desperately need the help, yet the resources available are becoming less.
How do we solve these problems? We'll look at that further along.
Immigration (especially the illegal kind) has a darker side, in which the media are constantly fixating on for a reason... Isolation of a country.
The negative aspects of immigration are the focus of the media outlets, causing the public to overlook the good so many of these people bring to our societies.
An important question needs to be asked... Would these people come over to our lands if they had what we had?
A man crosses to our democratic shores by whatever means, full of dreams, hope in a promised land.
Yet when embarking upon such a journey, does he really want to leave his native land, his family, his community?
If the truth be known... The answer would be... No.
However. What has their native land to offer?
Poverty. Authoritarianism. Wars. Lack of opportunity. Healthcare, mental health and wellbeing services, social care are non-existent for the financially destitute.
Then add housing, infrastructure and other issues to the mix. Is it no wonder he wants to escape and find refuge elsewhere? In a more prosperous country?
Does he bring documents with him? Does he declare a criminal record? Does he announce he's a sexual predator? Is there a way to check his true identity? Not likely.
Many foreign nationals come from a place where there's no medical, psychological help and their background is completely unknown, including any criminal history.
When a crime is committed within a community, a carefully worded announcement is made in the media, using a subtle gesture to suggest it could be a foreign national by telling the public 'not to speculate'.
The anger within the community grows and the people demand action, so does the violence, hatred and division within a community of people who are being unwittingly herded into a trap.
It is this behaviour that is encouraged in order to direct a people into believing their country should be for its own national citizens and the borders should be raised.
Stupidity can be feigned in order to achieve goals through clever, intelligent manipulation and playing the fool is one way a government achieves exactly what it wants.
When a government bows down to their people, they are in reality doing what they intended in the first place by letting the people believe they are in control and have the power.
The personal wealth, independence and power of their people will eventually be taken away.
Isolating a country can help to achieve this goal.
As those of you suffering mental health issues will testify, seeking professional help via the public service system is challenging, because so many people need the help, yet there are not enough facilities to cover it.
The governments use the media to blame our so-called aging population for causing a burden to our public health system. Yet the truth is, so many people of all ages (even young children) are in desperate need of our health services... In particular, mental health.
Unfortunately, there's not enough professional help available to cover the rising needs because of reduced funding, resources, property space and getting the qualified professionals available to do the job.
The health care workers are constantly pressured to deal with more case loads every day, whilst constantly worn down by attrition and eventually forced to leave the health service.
Again. There's no denying the fact immigration (especially illegal) is contributing to the problems that are growing bigger by the day.
If the investment was put into our modern, democratic countries healthcare systems, we would all be able to have access. Yes. It can be done because the money is available.
The people are being blamed and criticised for being dependent upon the health and welfare services. Yet over time, the people have become lost, disillusioned, without hope and it all contributes to mental exhaustion and feeling physically ill.
We work and pay into a system, yet are made to feel guilty for seeking medical help.
When illness strikes, getting the right help at the early stages can save so much misery, cost and lives.
At election time, each party and prospective leader tells the people about the changes they will make, but the public are now past the point of caring. They merely spit out their aggression in bemusement at the fodder the newspapers and media outlets feed them.
Nobody knows what to believe anymore.
What do we do? What do we actually all need?
Everyone needs access to health care, without argument. Following on from that, everyone needs access to mental health care as well. Housing, infrastructure, transport, power, business and everything else needs to be accessible to all.
One way or another, it can be done through not only continuing investment in our modern, democratic lands, but also through expansion to those without.
We can discuss the problems regarding crime and punishment forever. There is one certainty when it comes to crime. That is... The victim always pays the price.
The legal systems in our modern, democratic countries (such as the United Kingdom) certainly have many faults and people blame the governments for not taking a hard stance towards those who commit crimes.
Many would argue that there's no justice.
When it comes to dealing with the growing crime epidemic, the police forces are overburdened and suffer from a lack of financial and other resources, not to mention their own limited powers.
Unfortunately, the same goes for the victims, as they try to seek justice.
Whenever a community project is launched to help young people choose a direction away from crime or a volunteer program is launched to help the victims or provide mental health support for those who could be at risk of committing violent acts... What happens? The funding is reduced, the costs increase and the property/land eventually becomes another commercial/residential project.
There's certainly no denying that rising crime is a challenge for any government and it's trying to find a solution to tackle it, as there are so many different reasons for people committing crime.
There are many strong opinions on here - as with any political debate.
A certainty exists, the fact there are so many faults with our governments in every country... This is just a sample.
However. There seems to be a pattern, a common trait amongst all ranges of the political spectrum that is the cause of many problems facing the people who want salvation.
We are all aware of the headwinds facing each and every country and for the wealthier, democratic countries people choose to ignore the signs of decay and continue their daily lives, casting much of the political climate as drivel.
Yet for the poorest of countries, the rot has consumed the people, the land, the economy and everything else, leaving a country bereft of hope.
Health, housing, social welfare, pensions, care, rising crime, prison overcrowding, probation and rehabilitation issues... All these and more need to be addressed, yet they are all under attack, stripped bare of resources.
The divide between rich and poor is forever getting wider. Although everybody already knows this because it is constantly repeated over and over again with contempt.
Something needs to be done about the state of world affairs as humanity heads for disaster. When that happens, there will be some very wealthy beneficiaries.
When we learn a new subject, repetition (however tedious and boring) plays a vital part of the learning experience.
The same goes for helping people to realise what is happening to their communities, their countries and way of life.
A full unification of thought is needed to focus everyone on a fundamental understanding that people are being herded into a trap of believing their governments are no more than incompetent imbeciles who cannot get things right, but fools are cunning and not always who they appear to be, as playing the fool can achieve great success.
As each and every country works towards isolating themselves, the hostility grows and division between communities become apparent as media inflamed emotions seize the sense of rationale from a vulnerable public through careful manipulation.
People strongly believe in being patriotic, are proud of their country and become inflamed at the thought of it all being taken away, yet their patriotism can be used as a weapon against a country's own people, for the sake of isolation and feeding them more promises that will be broken.
A unification of thought is needed, in which everyone visualises the borders coming down and realising that what's happening to their country is happening to another.
Sometimes. It's not always about searching for answers, but actually searching for the questions.
Could globalisation be a good thing, if it actually included all of the people?
If the investment goes into a company, it can expand beyond the limits of it's own borders, to other countries and serve more people.
What if a country were to think the same way as well?
Is it time for those countries with the wealth (such as the United Kingdom) to expand?
Our wealthier, democratic lands are making money, yet somehow, so much of it seems to disappear. The wealthy, democratic lands are home to the richest, most powerful people and organisations, yet the wealth within the country, the communities and the working class people is disappearing.
Countries are being run down the ground, just like many companies are, forever squeezed until all the money is gone... Then broken down and sold off, piece by piece and leaving the people with nothing, whilst the custodians take everything.
The money within a country should be used for investing in that country, not just for re-generation, but for growth and expansion, like a well run, successful company does.
Countries that still have the ability must consider new options, one being expansion, whether people like it or not.
We have to ask ourselves... Would so many foreign nationals come to our shores if they had our privileges, such as more business, democracy, adequate farming, availability of food, not a war zone and so on?
Other issues such as health care, mental health support and other public welfare services are not available to so many poverty stricken people in their native land, yet they have no choice but to risk their lives to travel to our lands.
Our own democratic lands are heading in the same direction as these poverty stricken, authoritarian states, all because the vast amounts of wealth generated is filched away into many a back pocket.
Again. It's stressing the vital point that people need to think as one force all over the world, because what is happening now is only going to get worse.
Globalisation of business is both good and bad.
One way or another, both businesses and the wealthier countries need to work hand in hand with a view to expansion, bringing what they have to the poorer lands.
It's a complicated, controversial issue which needs to be addressed so that everyone can move forward as one force.
A country is like a business. It can either be run down to the ground, for the benefit of making a few people very rich, or it can expand, re-generate and grow for the benefit of all.
Paul...
