Have fired a .50cal. DE at the range. I could hardly hold onto it with two hands.

Believe it or not, I saw a sporting magazine that had a .50 cal single shot a guy built on a 1911 frame. He shot it and they had pictures but I still don't believe anyone can hold onto one.
