Even though I did not sleep well last night (nightmares, flashbacks, etc.) I was polite and patient with someone today who showed up at my home with very little notice.

She gave me a compliment too. She says that I am very self aware. She is right. It does not mean I am self-centered. It means that I am aware when I need inpatient treatment, when I need help of a lesser sort, when I am having an episode, etc. None the less, I still can keep my head and help my client and do my job, while all this is going on (unless I need to go inpatient, of course).

I like that I can normally think on the spot and come up with some pretty cool games for my son. (Mama let’s think of a new game)

I like that I have reached out on here and with medication and my therapist as it shows I take responsibility for me and have a goal to get a little better.

Wow, littleoc, I just saw your thread. My first reaction was to choke back tears. If hubby was not sitting in the room with me, maybe I could have let things flow. Don't know why the urge to cry.... Hard to answer.
