Anyone Else Try Craniosacral Therapy?

Memories aren't uncommon... cuz of the mind and body connection, but if you can verbalize/report your experience during session... OR you can signal if you can't be verbal... the more feedback you give, the better the quality of the session. I only hit water level a couple times... it was awesome... near the end of my sessions. I just ran out of money, but had really achieved what I wanted from the sessions.

I did a watsu class at a international water aerobics conference... and felt the same way. Water apparently is very balancing for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience @The Albatross. My practitioner didn't really ask me where I was so much as asked me how I felt when something "shifted," or gave me a new way to connect the mind and body (for example, connecting the throat area with my heart - I really liked that one). I did tell her my body (as in the rest of it and especially the legs) was locked up per normal, and that my right hand/fingertips were numb per normal.

My trauma therapist, on the other hand, asks me where I am all the damn time. Being checked out and not "present" is very common for me, and it's something my trauma therapist is trying to help me with by incorporating SE into our therapy and teaching me how to do SE exercises.

Sounds to me like she's focusing on meridians... I had already done that with a Reiki Master... and did Reiki I and II training so I did some of the preliminary stuff already... I probably could use a tune up there as well, as I do it for my elderly during care but not to myself. I expect though, that it was more beneficial for me, during that time to remember/feel what it was like to be in my body and in session I felt "safe". That was key for me... when I'd go back in, I was supported.

Hope you share your experiences, and that you find it beneficial for you... like most alternative healing modalities... it is often to your "highest good"... it is different for most everybody (mental/emotional/physical).
