Yeah I decided to add some mods to the game to make it more interesting, I tried not to pack on too many that make the game too easy, like the spell mods and such. The game is hard if you don't use the pause function or hit the spacebar. While its paused you can kind of tell people what to do and the'll do it after you unpause.
What's really hard is not getting your mage/druid/cleric killed , you really have to take advantage of any boost spells you can in some cases, and keep up on writing down new spells you find into the spellbook and then transfering them to your memory from time to time or you'll end up behind on the best spells.
If you have a really hard time I recommend you download the mod pack for the game, it's easy to install and not only can you make the game a little easier but you can add a lot of useful things to the game, like infinite gem stacking in your gem bag or allow more stacking for arrows/bolts, darts and throwing daggers/axes. And that really is just the beginning, there's also new quests that were modded into the game, new equipment, even the ability to set the character roll to a random base roll of 15-18, which cuts serious time down on rolling your character. Last bit of advice is to take advantage of any throwable or missile type weapons, like the bows because the arrows you can find or buy are really strong, I like to have 3 long distance users a long bow, short bow, and theres always someone who cant use anything but a staff or sling, so I have them use the sling.
