I found this and thought it would be comforting for all of who have lost a furry loved one to remember that they're up there happily playing....

You can see that everyone who has had to do the same thing came over to say hi, since boy, there's not a lot else to do, is there? Talk about feeling awful, I'm sorry. I was shocked to realize we buried our 16 year old Malamute all of 9 years ago. Maguire. Ridiculous- I still have this bird's nest we found in a tree a few months later, where the birds used her hair for the middle of it. STILL makes me cry.

It's not that one walks around feeling that awful 24/7, it's that they kind of stay with us like that. I think it's nice, really, being able to remember a pet 9 years later with such plain old love it makes me cry.

I hope it's a little better today, thanks for making us stop and remember also. Do take care-Peace to you.
