Hi everyone,
Kind of a random post here, but can anyone reccomend a couch? Do you have a couch that you love and do you know the brand?
So, this does relate to PTSD. I just moved into a new home and bought a couch and now that its here I don't really like it.
It is more on the formal side and some what uncomfortable. It was causing anxiety, so I spent almost an entire therapy session talking about the couch and what it means ect. I grew up poor and so now when I spend money on things I want them to be perfect.
So, after sorting through these feelings and trying to accept the new couch, I realize that I would still like a different, better couch for logical reasons.
Our plan is just to use this one in another room and then take our time to purchase another one for our family room.
I want a couch that you can curl up on and read a good book, that is sturdy and made well, and is comfortable with out looking too saggy or frumpy. Being comfortable in my home is a huge part of managing and lowering symptoms so if any one has any insights that would be great!
