Chat, check-in, and hang out

I am a caregiver to a woman who has dementia. I can't see her in person, because of Covid, so I call her and keep her entertained. She needs any help she can get. I will try a new game with her today. Can she think of anything that is blank color. I do get paid a small stipend.
 
that sounds great. blank color? Interesting thought. Covid has been rough on people with dementia and who are unable to see people face to face
She did Ok with the color questions. I asked her to think of or if she could see anything that is red, blue or yellow, etc. She could do the one where she had to look for something red, orange, etc. But not the think of one questions. That was too difficult for her.
 
I just took a nap, it felt so good. Sometimes I feel the need for some time off during the day.

I don't remember any dreams though.
a nap sounds great. I have noticed I don't dream as much napping as I do sleeping at night. It sounds like you understand yourself well. That is something I could work on. Learning to take time off or to listen to myself.
 
Just saw a movie about a schizophrenia boy and his life in high school dealing with his mental illness. It made me a bit dissociative in the movie and when I was walking out of the theater I didn't feel like myself at all it was so weird. I still feel a bit cloudy almost like I'm drunk.
