Setbacks, light? For me, I'm wasted, used up, tired of trying again to come near a 'human'.

((((TLigh)))) Hang in there, I know how you feel, ready to pack it all in, tired of the long, hard climb, but we can do it, we are human, we are more than human, we are supersapiens, we survived, maybe our brains got a bit messed up but if others can do it we can too. Just hang in there. :tup:

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on here for a while, so to come on find all your comments has really made me smile.

Living with effects of trauma is still a rollar coaster ride, and I know it always will be (reality sucks huh?) but now it's a smaller one for me and it does stop and I do get off and I can enjoy the stillness of the present moment.

I don't know how the healing process is for the rest of you, but for me, I'm still having those moments of clarity/reality checks that hurt like hell, but those moments bring a higher state of acceptance, and It's in these times when I feel the grief for everything that was taken from me. It's then that a powerful healing shift happens and I come out of it and find myself in a different place again.

That's just how my healing is happening. Maybe it's that same for all of us? I don't know...

I read somewhere, that through the most terrible of human suffering, can come the most incredible healing too. Well it's true, it really is true.

That's a beautiful sentiment, and I agree with it whole heartedly. The best part of it is that we can heal ourselves; it is all within us. How privileged we are to learn the true measure of our own strength.
