There was thunder when H and I were on our walk yesterday so we hid in the pub until it passed.:rolleyes: Then we continued our walk and managed to get to the car before it really started. We chased the storm all the way home and watched the lightening - it was wonderful!

When we arrived home the lads said it had thundered so hard that the house shook!

Dull and cold today.

I am beginning to feel guilty. Another beautiful sunny and hot day. We have the fan on. It is gorgous.

It is going to be so hot today. It will be in the hundreds. Ouch.

No rain today and even the sun came out for a few seconds. I have 2 loads of washing on the line, they won't dry much more but at least I won't have to tumble dry them for so long.

I had photos from a friend in South Africa (Johannesburg), it has been snowing there - a very rare occurance so even grown ups leave work to play. When I was there in 1981 it snowed in our first week, I was appalled but they all thought it was great. Cars would stop at a red light and people would leap out, throw a few snowballs and then get back in for the lights to turn green.

Oh KP, that's so funny, thinking of those people jumping out for a rare snow ball fight!

It got very hot and humid here this afternoon. :tup:

It is still very hot. We have had the air conditioner on all day. It will be hard to sleep tonight.

Grey and overcast but so far no rain.
