I need sunshine. I'll be back "down south" on Tuesday, I'll see the sun from home....

Where is home? Is it your summer?

My home is South Africa, I'm presently way up North in northern Zambia, its rainy season, it never stops raining. Its summer down here in the Southern hemisphere, yes.

If I were rich I'd spend my time in constant summer.

My fave house would be the 'Old Harbour Masters' house in Hermanus, South Africa. I would also visit Australia and New Zealand. I'd be there Oct - March. March - Sept would be Northern hemisphere - oh well, I can dream.

Watching the whales from Hermanus is just beautiful.

We all have to dream, it frees up our imagination and opens our souls. Its an escape from the realities of life, its chocolate for the soul :)

KP clever girl picking NZ and Australia to visit. Great places as I've lived all over NZ, on the run with my parents. Beautiful place has a touch of every country and resembles a lot of europe. Iv'e lived in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Perth. When I go back to Perth you can come and stay with me. :)

It has rained, snowed and hailed here this morning but it is brightening up now.:)

The sun was shining here at home this afternoon!

But now its pulled the duvet of the horizon over its head and gone to sleep.

It will be back tomorrow :)

It is a warm 50 degrees here today. Well above average for this time of year. We have daffodils and crocuses starting to grow...which is prolly not a good thing with so much of winter time left, but I will take all of the warmth I can get. :p

Same here. I drove a lady home yesterday and in her garden was a tiny purple crocus - so uplifting.
