It is cold here now, 3 Deg C now and looking like it could snow anytime soon.

Oh what joy, our garden will look as good as everyone else's then. :D

Cold here too -6 to -16, snowed again yesterday. Very white outside, no sun and looks like we are sitting in a low hanging cloud.

Matches how I am feeling.

Snowing in Shropshire as well. H and I went into the village this morning and bought our fresh stuff and I did the office cleaning. We have now batterned down the hatches.

It's been snowing here in Cheshire/Lancashire. Not much but the sky is heavy with it. My toes are freezing though so I'm going to make another cup of hot Vimto or some Turkish Delight flavoured hot chocolate.

It's starting to "Spring" here in NW Florida... a bit early. Star magnolia blooming is usually the first sign, they are well underway... Camelias and azaleas blooming, and weeds. My mind likes spring, but my allergies sure don't. When the robins migrate through here, I know we won't have any more cold snaps. I'm watching for them now.

All the Gorse was blooming on the Moor's yesterday. It's one of the first to flower in the UK along with Snowdrops and Crocus. Daffodils are pushing their heads up so spring is definitely on its way even if it is freezing out! For all us Brits: Watch out for the Blackthorn Tree; it is the first tree to flower and does so before any leaves appear and way before the Hawthorne or Cherry.

Blackthorn is more a shrub than a tree and is often used for hedging, and the Sloe's are used to make Sloe Gin.

Mmmmmmm, sloe gin. Oh and damson gin, and cherry brandy - I love nature :D

This could go in the cooking with indulgence. BUT after taking fruit out of alcohol (except sloes - too bitter), but drained fruit in an oven proof dish and cover with a choc cake/pudding mixture, bake and serve with cream for a grown up boozy pud. ;)

The snow is still falling, it is lovely to watch whilst warm and snuggy inside.

Its snowy here...and my boiler has broken and can't be fixed until Monday. So its brrrrrrrr. I should add a drop of mulled wine to the list of boozy treats :)
