Rain last night, and thankfully, no storms, which brought much cooler temperatures, heat and me don't mix!

I like a bit of rain. When it threw it down here yesterday, I opened my door and watched it. I love the smell of the damp earth after the rain, so refreshing.

Today it's chilly and overcast with a bit of sun. I really want to go to the sea side.

It has been raining for over 30 hours and counting. Now enough, please can we have the sunshine again.

Bank holiday Monday and we have sunshine.

SShh lets not scare it away, sunshine on a bank holiday in the UK, is a rarity.

It feels cold in the house but it is hot outside. This weather is confusing.

Same here Cath. No wonder we get colds and flu in the summer.

Brrrrrr, cold and wet. My poor plants are not enjoying it, the daisy bush is positively sulking.

Same here KP. My favourite eldest has just gone to the Download festival for 5 days. I think his tent will be floating! He came home from Uni with a cold and has passed it on to favourite youngest. Now, with the weather being as it is, I don't know if I have a cold or hay fever or both!

Where has the beautiful summer gone? Was that 1 week it? OR could it be saving itself for the July picnic?

Bloomin' rain again! I mean, I like rain but perhaps not this much!

Of course, when it rains this much my H takes the car and then I'm grounded!
