OK who pinched the sun we have had for the last week.

It is now dark and overcast, looking very much like it could pour it down.

There has been so much rain around here for over a month that I fear the crops will be damaged, as they were last year here. Corn, for instance, gets soggy inside and rots, also gets bugs. Some young seedlings get knocked down, especially since we have also had strong winds at times. I live way out in the mountains and our main source of income around these parts is farming. There is a chicken farm with something like a million of them, so I don't know how they are doing, but I hope OK. I see the egg trucks rolling by all day long going both ways so that is a good sign at least!

I suppose being so far up in the mountains, there is plenty of room for the water to move on downstream, so at least we have not had any flooding, thank God!

Sunny and very comfortable. I have the ceiling fan on and the sliding glass door open.

I am enjoying this pleasant weather. I hope it lasts.

Winter is here and I am not loving it. It is so cold here.
