Ever since I was a teenager I've been getting these. The 1st time was awful and they were very itchy and EVERYWHERE. Since then I get them almost every year only on my fingers but they aren't very itchy. I consider them one of my PTSD symptoms and I've since found that they are a common stress reaction.

Here's a link with a picture to the ones I get..

I used to have multiple skin flare ups quite often, some itchy and some extremely painful, until I drastically changed my consumption habits.

Dermatologists and my doc had prescribed cream after cream and antibiotics rather often, to no avail, and I think I owned every OTC treatment option that existed. Even if something helped temporarily with a symptom, it never helped eliminate the cause.

They only appear now when I eat gluten products, fried foods from restaurants, highly processed packaged stuff, or unknowingly get served animal or artificial products that I gave up over two years ago.

Also, if I enter into spaces like candle stores, bath and body product stores, hair and nail salons, formal or casual spaces with folks who like to marinate in synthetic smells, or even the cleaning and laundry aisle of the local grocery for any length of time, I often break out in some form.

Chemical shit storms bring it big time, along with many other unpleasant symptoms, rather quickly, both internally and externally. I have to keep it real inside and out or suffer the consequences.

I carry an epipen because i once had an anaphylactic reaction under stress. But i have been stung not under stress and have not reacted. Its strange how are body reacts with ptsd, stress and anxiety.
