My musical taste is pretty eclectic, but I recommend Blue October to my fellow sufferers out there. Their music gives me such a great sense of catharsis.

Listening to a little old school goth and classic blues right now. . .and something about Nicki Manaj's voice is addicting.

I love Linkin Park, Evanescence, and most other Alternative rock, but my absolute favorite is Dragonforce. I've found that music is one of the only ways I can actually emote about everything I've been through. I listen to just about anything except hip-hop and opera, but spend most of my time with either alternative (my bro accuses me of being too emo for his taste) or Christian contemporary (although some of the more whiny stuff is triggering). If it weren't for music, I think I would have cracked a LONG time ago!

I'm really into Kate Bush and Tori Amos as well.:) I seem to go for soothing sounds that are interesting and have lots of layers and instruments, and just a gorgeous voice to go with it...so those two always do it for me...especially Kate Bush.

I do love heavy stuff now and then but not too much.

I love classical music. I do love rammstein occasionally and to paint to, Sheila Chandra. I love Talking Heads and Frank Zappa, Bowie and Lou Reed.

but my absolute favorite is Dragonforce.

Dragonforce is what I often listen to when I do my weekly shop, they get me through it fast! LOL. I also listen to Eluveitie and Sabaton when I shop or I'm at the PC.

If I'm driving I prefer 80's stuff like Spandau Ballet, Ultravox, Japan, Visage and Bowie.

I like musicals, Opera and Classical - my favourite classical piece is the Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni.

For energy then Lincoln Park is a good or Meatloaf and definitely Metallica!

Oh that would have been amazing. They are both pretty wild women. I love a lot of Kate's older stuff, although her latest album is just superb.

I tend to listen to whatever mood I want to be in. I used to listen to music that I identified with what I was feeling, now I use it to help me when I need to feel. I hope that makes sense. But I listen to anything and everything from classical, to techno, to rap and country. If I like the percussion in the song, it sticks with me.

I can't stand grunge/alternative/anything too heavy on the "rock side." The loudness, screaming, and concentrated anger can just be too triggering for me. It's kind of a shame because I know some of the lyrics are great. I think I would identify a lot with these genres if they didn't get me so worked up, haha.

On the other hand, I do like music that, as someone above said, dares to say things that may not be socially acceptable. I really like Kimya Dawson for this. Her sound is beyond mellow (almost reminds me of a camp sing along), but she says some really surprising things.

Yes I do. Linkin Park are my favorite band. Chester's other band, Dead by Sunrise, is okay, but a couple of the songs are just too triggering to listen to.

Went through a phase of listening to MCR but I've definitely grown out of that! I like a lot of bands in the alt genre- YMAS, Three Days Grace are good when I'm angry.

But I listen to loads of different genres, pop, blues, classical. Depends what mood I'm in.

I used to, but in the last couple years I stopped. It sounds too hard for me now, the screaming, the intensity. I have made a concerted effort to listen to upbeat music and branch out. I still listen to some alternative songs that dont sound so aggressive, like ballads. I have come to really appreciate classical and jazz, too.

I've come to understand my sensory limitations.

I remember when I was a teenager grunge was just coming out. It was the early 90s. I remember wearing those checked shirts and baggy jeans. I loved Nirvana, stone temple pilots and Hole.

I like alternative rock. Seem to be listening to a lot of that right now. Don't like any music where they are just screaming out the lyrics.

I am open to any music. Prefer, usually, women artists. I love piano music.

I've seen Yanni, Melissa Ethridge, Sting, and ZZ Top in concert.

I would love to see Rachael Yamagata in concert. That's if I get pass this social isolation deal.

I also like classic rock.
