Getting Off Cymbalta

murder in my dreams

Last night I drempt that I had a big kitchen knife in my hand and my father, (one of the causes of my PTSD) was talking to me about what he did to me, and I just screamed at him and hit him with the knife about a hundred times. I planned to kill him so many times when I was living there.

Normally, bad dreams stay with me all the next day, but I feel just fine now.

i am getting this feeling that i cant move my arms and legs, i am paralyzed for 5-30 minutes, in bed at night. i get a heavy feeling like my body is held down by concrete.
anyone else get this from antidepressant withdrawal?

i am whining, i dont feel good

june 7/08 and I am off Cymbalta, but I hate this withdrawal crap. I feel like I am in a funhouse, with the funny mirrors and tilting floors, but this sure as hell is NOT FUN! I felt violent last night, didnt sleep, am nauseated, and I cant drive because when I move my eyes even a little bit, the world moves with me and I am perpetually dizzy. When I close my eyes I feel like i am falling. This shit had better wear off quick!

2quilt THAT is exactly how I felt when I did cold turkey......I was on the couch for 10 days and it took a full 2 months for it to wear of completely. Never again will i do anti depressants. Even if I KNOW that there are times I need them, I would rather be nuts without them....LOL!!!!!

Hang in there it does get better, just takes time....

I do better when I drink more electrolyte water than necessary to stay hydrated. I am still swimming through rooms and walking into walls, but it's now only 75% of the time, not 100%.
