I've tried intranasal ketamine - but are you referring to IV ketamine in combination with talk-therapy, for trauma processing?

Not yet. I've been meaning to write it up, have just been too symptomatic to do so. But will do, soon.

Hi! Yes, I was thinking of it in combo with talk therapy

The pain clinic i go to offers this IV Ketamine where u are there for half a day @ $1900!!!!! And 4 to 10 sessions. Expensive...thats more than my monthly cheque.

I go next week for the informed consent appointment. I have been offered a chance to participate in a clinical trial through the Mayo Clinic for the IV Ketamine infusions. Not sure when I would start as there is another appointment for the completion of a physical next but if it works out I will report here.

Have you looked into ketamine therapy at ketamine wellness centers? Their prices are lower plus they have financing options. I think they are looking into insurance as well.

Does everyone in the trial actually get the drug, or is there a placebo group as well?

Everyone is getting the drug this is considered to be a phase 3 level trial so they are looking for side effects and that type of thing as opposed to does it work or is it just the placebo effect
