Head injury / self harm need advice

So I live with someone who self harms occasionally by punching rhemself in the front of the head, the person done it again a few days ago and I have looked up effects of frontal lobe injury and tgey have a lot of the symptoms, especially aggressiveness. The person is housebound and hates doctors but I am really concerned they've done some serious damage. Twitching of the eyes and lip also occurring and it never used to. I am in the UK, can I get a doctor or someone to the house to check the person over even though they're not registered with any doctor?

I think that to get a doctor to your house, you've got to go through NHS direct.

Are you able to get them to go to an a&e with you?

Have a look at their eyes too, are the pupils (blacks) both the same size? If they're not, tell them to look in the mirror, they've got concussion, tell them to put their clothes on, they're coming to a&e with you...

They can work out what they're going to say to the medical staff when they're on the way there.

Pupils are both the same size, thankfully. There's no way this person will let me get them out of the house, absolutely hates doctors and gets angry at such suggestions. I think I will ask NHS direct if someone can come up instead then.

I don't know the crisis phone numbers in your area, but they'll be able to help you assess the level of threat in the situation and activate relevant resources.

If you get scared, call the police. Better to have someone upset with you than seriously injured.

You might get stuck at the point when they ask for a GP and they're not registered right? They'll be able to refer them to the oncall GP through NHS direct- and give you advice. I've had to try and get help for someone else before and the doctor then rang me back with advice, I rang the 111 number. Hope you get some help for your friend
