Hoping to find some help in dealing with my husband, which is also the greatest man on earth, everything is great but when he gets mad at life battles and I am the one that gets the blame and says the meanest things to me and then says sorry and is mad that I am hurt.

I feel like I cant win :( no matter which way I turn.

Hi Amy. You always hurt the ones you love.....I am sure he does not mean to, and you in no way deserve to be treated badly ever. But I can tell you from my experience, It is hard when you are going through PTSD not to occasionally lash out verbally at the world, and unfortunately those who support us are usually the ones closest at the time. My wife is a wonderful woman, and I am thankful every day that she is stubborn enough to battle this with me without walking out the door as many do. you and many other partners and wives I have read about on this forum go through a lot. to you, I say thank you, you are a wonderful person and if the world had more people like you and my wife it would be closer to heaven than I could imagine. Come down to the the supporters area, where you will be able to meet up with the other supporters.

It is tough going but you can both come through this together, still with your marriage in tact. No one will tell you it is easy, but it is possible.

Take some time to read some of our stories, then you will not feel so alone with this.
