@FridayJones I do expect him to drive up here to request to talk in person to smooth it over and try to talk things out. However he runs a successful business and he works another job as well plus he has a child. He wouldn't camp out up here for days. I can handle his PTSD if the distance wasn't an issue. He's worth all of that. I guess I feel like I can't see his face or his reactions being so far away as I could in person and it would be easier for me to cope with the lack of communication because I see it firsthand and not just sense it or guess that's what it is. If I go see him and I can tell his body language or his quietness then I know for sure and I think I could handle it way better but unfortunately I don't have that privilege. I believe with every fiber of my being he cares for me deeply and it's his busy season with his landscape business so it's added stress for him. If this distance was not an issue then NO I wouldn't say goodbye!
