I stopped because I had to get my eyes & head clear .
I am also VERY DRAINED ! I will post more later. I think I will rest here a bit then go home; safely.
Thank you everyone for rooting for me. Silly as it sounds my pocket buddies did help quite a bit. I will have to make another list for next time because I am not sure what I did to it when I held it in my pocket but it looks like it suffered more than I didand that's a lot!

Hahaha that's how mine ended up until I wrote it on card and stuffed it down my sock. I could still feel it in my sock so it still worked and I knew my sock buddy was there but what a whiff my sock buddies have had to put up with over the years :eek:.

WW, you didn't tell us how it is with therapy yet... O r did I miss it? I know you went to that first meeting, but what's the follow up? Will you be doing therapy from your home, like you were saying?

I am still waiting a decision.:( I went in because she needed more information from me. They will be meeting this Thursday and hopefully make a decision. She said I should hear something on the 19th. It is aggravating. The one big hurdle is that currently they only have one provider who is a male (nothing personal Anthony or other male members) I just REALLY need a female. It is hard enough to get stuff out, if it was a male it would be nearly impossible.I thought it would just be her. I guess they have someone doing it for several people, but none are PTSD from personal assaults. They are mostly combat kind of stuff.

I think it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I think they will really try to work something out. I would think they realize it wouldn't really be fair and equal treatment if they do it for male vets and not 1 female. It shouldn't matter the cause of the PTSD. (This did occur on active duty military).

I will let you know as soon as I hear. Things just don't move very quickly.:(

The wait is almost over and I'm convinced that they will come up with a solution.

WW. The 19th has been and gone. Did you hear anything? Do you have a plan?
I never thought I would be able to work with a male therapist, but I do. He is great and knows PTSD inside out. That is more important than what sex he is. Yes I get embarrased sometimes, but would have done talking to anybody.

I do hope that you got the news you were hoping for..... please come back and tell us when you can:hug:

The Dr did not call me. I did call, but they did not return the call.:( I am not sure if they will be in or not tomorrow. I do plan on calling to check though.

Let us know how it goes. How's it going with the other stuff you are going through right now? Have you found a safe place to stay? You were talking about living with an older person and taking care of them in exchange for lodging. Is that no longer an option?

The job offer I had seen in the paper was already filled. :( I am still looking and i have replied to one other. At the moment I am in a hotel, but I can't be here for long. luckily where I live is very much a tourist area and this is the off season so the rates are about as low as they get. These few days surrounding the thanksgiving holiday were a bit higher though.
