... And spent 3 months?/weeks? In a coma in hospital. On recovering, I was angry that my hospital bed was a single bed when OBVIOUSLY I normally sleep in a double bed. However I was pleased that G. one of my previous colleagues had very kindly visited me in hospital.

When I told Rory in the morning that I had been in such a terrible accident, and hadn't he missed me these past few weeks he was not very understanding or sympathetic.

He thinks my dreams are bizarre. This was one of the nicer ones, and I could remember all the detail on waking.

I could remember all the detail on waking
Sometimes, I don't mind this - especially when the dream is more odd than terrifying, even if the oddness involves bad things happening to me. I do have the problem of thinking that the people I know from real life who showed up or related to the dream were actually there. I know they weren't...it's such an interesting phenomenon.

I don’t know you....but when I saw the title I immediately got concerned. My silly brain thought you actually had been hit by a car, in a coma, and Rory (assume that’s your SO?) was not sympathetic.
Glad it was just a Dream!! ?
Sorry to alarm you. This is in the sleep and nightmares forum! Yes, Rory is my husband of 34 years, very understanding of my CPTSD, as he was a psychiatric nurse prior to retirement.
He finds my night time travels and experiences bizarre. I often remember the details and I frequently have the ability to fly in my dreams.
