I'm 2 years clean from cutting

My 2 year clean anniversary actually happened during my inpatient stay, so this post is a little delayed. But I'm proud of myself, nonetheless.

I still have to consciously fight my urges to cut almost every day, but I never ever thought that I would be able to stop.
It does get better.

I know how hard that is. In order to even consider quitting cutting, I had to get outside help. And it took me a while to successfully do it.

It's hard to overcome the desire to self-harm when it's there. It's definitely a great accomplishment to resist it successfully for -two years-!!!
