My apologies @InsideAWord - I'm on the back foot with this one as I find it personal when members attack the forum yet come here expecting it to be here for their use with little respect of what it takes to keep it here. If it wasn't for the generous members who donate and staff contributions, along with all the members who participate positively, this wouldn't be the great place it is for PTSD Sufferers and Supporters. I've invested 6 1/2 years of my life, heart and soul here so it's somewhat personal for me. I also watch my husband put up with crap for all his good intent. If it was not for him this forum would not exist.

I understand and agree. Quite honestly, if it weren't for the forum and the people who have compassionately decided to accept my story and symptoms, I probably wouldn't be here. PTSD is very isolating and I don't have that many understanding supporters. That's why I choose to become a premium member and donate when I can. I don't want this to go away. I understand how frustrating this can be, Nicolette, but you don't have to worry about any grief from me, honestly. When I'm not down in the dumps, I tend to have a very bouncy, Type A personality that wants to make people laugh. So, I suppose when I try to make people laugh at an odd time, the intent becomes muddled.

Technically, I am the founder and administrator... though Nicolette owns the site. Yes @Barconian there is a reason for that as well, though you are not privy to the answer, as it has nothing to do with you.

Donate, don't donate, I don't really care. The simple fact is this... if the site costs aren't covered each month, then I shut the site and everyone goes elsewhere. I've done my penance in starting the site, supporting hundreds of members directly myself in helping them recover their PTSD, and now it is done at a community level where others have learnt from me, learnt from others, then pass their information and help others, and themselves, recover PTSD.

This thread is useless and has little value, and I find it extremely borderline to trolling behaviour, of which I have little tolerance. I dare you to post such nonsense again directed at any staff, and you will quickly see how little tolerance I have when your account is terminated permanently.

This site is here to help you, and oh snap, you're using it freely to help yourself, yet asking questions in a manner of trolling about whether you should donate or not. Ask yourself simply: Am I worth donating for this site being here to help myself or someone less fortunate than me? If Yes, donate. If No, don't donate and be quiet about such things with sarcastic tones adhered.
