You aren’t broken, you are considering a different approach of relating to yourself and that takes courage! In fact it shows that you are very much not broken to be able to do that!
Therapists are good for being able to lay this big knot out and pull at the threads until stuff starts to loosen.
Just want to say that it’s pretty common for survivors to feel that way. I have dealt with that a lot myself. Ironically it’s a kind of weird survival game: “If I call myself a whore then it won’t hurt when they do it.” It sounds like part of you is tired of those mental gymnastics and is curious if there’s another way to relate, in spite of all the crap and confusion. And the good news is that there is definitely a way through, but it does take time, patience, and effort. I think you’re worth it, but you have to decide that for yourself.
