Infinity Colors

Using the new framework that will style this forum, as does the combat PTSD forum already, I have applied it to the current default style, which provides some extra, cool, features. One such feature is what's called "Infinity Colors" which allows every member to uniquely style the forum look to themselves.

Nobody else can see what you do, it is computer specific, and if you clear your browser cache, you will lose your colour choices. Same will apply changing browsers, as I believe it is browser cached, not cached to your member account.

It has a reset link below it, which will reset your changes back to default.

As a result of installing this, I have removed the shoutbox from the sidebar, and is now only available from the shoutbox tab in the top navigation. Remember, shoutbox has a popout version, so you can keep it open constantly on your desktop, whilst browsing the forum or other sites.

Do you have to do anything special to make it work? 'cause when I click on the boxes nothing happens. They are all black. Just wondering.

Nope... click on box, popup will show colours, change colours.

Ok... fixed, my fault. I hid a template instead of outright removing it, which caused a problem with the popup.

Working again now...

Very Cool! I hated that god-awful yellow! Now it's all green! :) (mind you I am shade-colour blind so who knows what actual colours I have! LOL )

Anthony, if by style ..."actual style for this site will get installed," ...you're referring to set colors again as well, will infinity colors then no longer be available?

Also, I just tried out infinity colors and it's pretty cool. For me it helps make the different forum's visible to my eyes as I have mine now all straight black, opposed to a lighter shade.

Now each forum title whether Ptsd Chat or Ptsd Private, etc., is noticeably visible and I imagine it like separate doors that may be swung open, as opposed to before I faintly saw a list of a series of doors let's say that seem to be unrecognizable to my eyes and brain and somehow overwhelming.

Now if anyone can make sense of what I've just said here, I give you lot's and lots of credit.

Oh' and as for yellow and green, I don't remember ever seeing either color here or anything like it before or after, so now I'm thinking and wondering who's color shade blind me or bec and heather. ;)Smiles & Take Care.

Oh' and back to infinity colors, ...again I like these.
