Do any of you get this - when your system is really stressed, you start to itch everywhere? And not just a little itch either, but an itch you can feel in the nerves?

I´ve had this before - although in a different way - I would just develop a random rash all over my body, or when touched my skin would become crazy red and start hurting. Now it´s the itching, and it´s everywhere.

I know it is related to stress, because this happens every time my system gets an "stress error", and I know of a few other people who have this condition. But it drives me FLIPPIN INSANE.

I guess I´ll just go to the doc tomorrow and ask for a topical cream. I´ve tried cold water, ice, it helps only for a very short amount of time.

I get this from time to time. Lately it's been bad. Luckily it's just on my elbows. I've read that it's caused from stress, and in this case your body is "allergic" to stress, hence the hives. I use gold bond ultimate healing lotion. Works like a charm.

Yeah that is definitely what it feels like. I wish my body did not react to everything. I don´t know if we have bond here but I´ll ask the doc. Thank you :)

I took an antihistamine yesterday, because that´s what the doc prescribed when I got that allergic rash, and it seems to have settled down thus far. But I´ll consider also getting aloe gel, which is a component of the gold bond gel. I read somewhere that aloe can help too.

Yes I get this terribly and its a nightmare I hope you find relief. It feels like a million insects crawling on me scratching me. Make sure you use emollients regularly and wear loose natural fibre clothing. And use sensitive detergents. Mine is totally stress triggered but doing the other helps a little. I take a prescription antihistamine and an anti leukatrine regularly as well.
