Making Myself Clear Without Hurting Another ( If Possible )

2narcissa, I work with many men and men who take things very literal which is why I have to be very clear (so, no "you're sweet" and all ;)).

I sent the message and got a reply minutes later. Haven't read it yet though; don't want to ruin my time off work.

I'm in my home town and spent half a day today talking to a good friend of mine, also about this guy. That did me a world of good.

Will be back in the office on Thursday. Can't wait!!! (Sarcasm!!!)

Just returned to the office and read the reply. "Of course", everything was "just a misunderstanding" and he was "only joking".

Exact quote: "In any case, I understand that you may not like this kind of jokes, and you can be sure that they will not happen again."

He also said he's "extremely sorry".

Well, actions speak louder than words, so time will tell (or rather: his actions will tell).

Lol,it seems so predictable the way his response read.It is almost as if he had a default personality to fall back on ! Good ,I am happy you feel better about it now hopefully .Now ,with that out of the way ,you can enjoy amd drama free work day ,with no harm done to both parties involved . ; )

You are absolutely correct.

Funny thing is, it came to me a few days after he replied that he never mentioned any feelings for me. He just said he was aware our relationship was solely professional.
