Exactly my thoughts. Let's go with the Saturday following Mother's Day for one week starting at Springer Mountain, GA. There's a hotel nearby that we can rough it in---it's probably not five star--but close to the head of the AT so the farthest any Air Force will initially have to duffle bag drag is across the parking lot.

How's that sounding so far?

You guys aren't gonna believe this. I mentioned to J what you're planning and he said "I want to go". I said "IKR". It really does sound great. I've wanted him to get involved with WWP but he always has some excuse not to. They do this kind of thing too. We even have a Chapter about an hour from us. Have you ever worked with them?

@Freida, my brother and 2 cousins are in Atlanta. I just checked, it's an hour and a half to Springer Mountains....

We hiked in the Smokies a couple of summers ago. I'll never forget it. We also hike up in Michigan's U.P. Breath taking.

I don't know if I could hang with all of you. I'd probably have to isolate periodically. Lmao!!!

Now I want to plan a vacation...
