I cannot remember why but I tried to make a sound like an elephant and couldn’t do it, so this lead to repeated Unsuccessful attempts that had me laughing so hard I sounded like a chimpanzee. I can shape sounds into quite diverse accents and vocal tones .... but I simply cannot sound like an elephant. ( can you? )

One of my dogs is having a wonderful dream and her tail is fully wagging, not just twitching, but properly wagging, and fast. I wonder what made her so happy ?

Not today, but the other day... I was running errands and saw 2 Sandhill cranes who were looking in the window of a paint store in the middle of plaza, checking out their reflections. It was the cutest thing and totally unexpected at that location. They had their beaks up against the glass, gently tapping it, just staring at themselves. So precious!
