@8888 - Saying a prayer. Not at all selfish. It's where you're at right now. God loves us where we're at and in our broken places. Take good care of yourself. There is a Bible verse that I've been meditating on; maybe it will help: Psalms 46:10. There is also Numbers 6:35-26.

When folks have a moment, please pray for my mom. She has had a very troubling summer with the progression of her Alzheimer's and with getting correct medication to help her feel comfortable and to have a better quality of life. She's lost a great deal of weight and I'm, frankly, afraid that she's going to decline again or that we might lose her. Just very afraid and leaning into my faith for support. Thank you. VB

Lord God, teach @8888 what they need to know in order to go to Heaven. Help this person to read John 3:16 and 3:17 in the Bible and to really understand these verses! I pray in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I don't identify as a Christian but what I understand about Christ's teachings and other beings that took similars paths is that they all agreed the kingdon of heaven or hell is within.
I still grabble with this but I find more and more truth in it as I go along the path.
So if you will accept I will be wishing you to be at peace and harmony with yourself and the world around.

This thread is for anyone who feels the need for prayer, Christian or other. I started this thread, so I think I am entitled to make that decision. My father and mother were Atheist and Agnostic and my mother used to pray, even though she did not know who she was praying to, she said once. Later, 3 wks before she died, she became a Christian. @NatBird

I awoke with a horrid nightmare this morning.... just needing your prayers in general. My beloved niece attempted suicide (she is PTSD too) and other things are stressing me out too. Your prayers are always appreciated!
