I ask for prayers for my friend Sue, whose mean brother/ guardian placed her in an Assisted Living Facility. Sue shows signs of PTSD and may have been diagnosed with it, I am not sure. However, she often has bursts of anger and seems not to be herself, then will come back to being herself later on. Anyway, please pray for her welfare, as she was most likely placed in a facility that is for the mentally ill, and those kinds of facilities can drive one "crazy" literally! (I've been in one, so I know). I don't see Sue as deeply troubled, but she is deathly afraid of her brother, that was clear to all of us who know her. She has no control of her life now. She is literally in the Hands of God!

Please, a prayer for me and my mother as we face yet another hurdle in her ongoing decline with Alzheimer's. I am absolutely overwhelmed and side-swiped. Please ask God to give me the strength to keep carrying on so that I can get Mom into a better situation and that I don't further break myself in the process. I think I've already lost too many pieces of the puzzle at this point and my body is further shutting down, along with my mind and ability to function, yet I must work a job too so that I can pay at least a portion of my bills. All of her money will be spent on care at this point. I just hope the trust will get her through as I can't help her. I will be working at Wal-Mart until I die, I fear, at this point. Sorry so doom and gloom. Just can't sit still with it anymore. It's like I'm a bottle of soda that's been in a shaking machine for 3 says. The past is also flooding my mind - I think the enemy is seeing this as an opportunity and he is taking full advantage. So support or care in real-time other than my mom's care manager. Thinking I might call the Alz hotline and ask for a social worker. Need to go. Thank you for reading, and please pray if you have a moment. Humbly - VB

The area where I live has had very little rain fall this year. Our farmers have suffered crop losses and now we are having huge areas of our forest burn in huge forest fires. The air outside is filled with SMOKE and it is dangerous just to sit outside and wait for the bus, due to smoke inhalation. We have already lost over 1000 acres of forests (probably a lot more by now, that was last week's estimate) and the fires are spreading. Our firefighters are in danger as they attempt to contain the flames.

WE NEED RAIN! Please pray for rain for North Carolina and surrounding states in the USA.

We in America need to pray for our newly elected political leaders. Even if we did not vote for them, we need to support them as best we can and try to unite our nation behind them.

Where I live, in a National Forest, we have fires close by, about 25 miles from here. There are thousands of acres of forests that are affected. Please pray for our safety and our trees!

A dear friend named David, who is a pastor in Florida USA, has a blood clot in his lung. He just had surgery, so they cannot give him blood thinners yet! He is in the hospital and under observation, as they wait for the surgery site to heal enough so they can start the blood thinners or do whatever else they can do to get rid of this blood clot.
