My friend David died last night. I want the community to pray ( meditate) for Teresa please. ( his wife) I love her like a sister. She's 3 years older than I am, David was 4. I'm blown away that he's gone. He was a genuinely, nice guy.

Praying for those who have been struggling with the horrible storms and flooding over the past few weeks here in the US. I've been watching the news and praying daily, but wanted to put something out here as well.

Praying for those affected by the shootings in Virginia Beach. My heart is so heavy and aching from this recurring horror that has been playing out too often in our society.

Praying for our society which seems to have lost its moral center. The Social Compact seems to almost be no more. Praying we find a way to knit it back together again. Looking for a way to help in this process.

Praying for the World's military and first responders in remembrance of D-Day. Praying for Grace to cover them and deliver them in all that they do each and every day to protect us. So very grateful.

I had a missed call from my stepmother this morning and knew something was wrong. I called and she told me my dad had been taken to the ER yesterday and is now on a vent waiting to go to ICU. He has congestive heart failure and his lungs were full of fluid filled with bacteria. He's been dealing with heart failure and lung problems for a couple of years, but hasn't been this sick and on a vent for a year or longer.

Please pray for my dad that he finds healing and can go home soon.

I will definitely pray for your dad @VioletButterfly may he recover from all health challenges and return to his home to be with loved ones very soon!!!

I have been trying to strengthen my faith, but I know that God does not necessarily keep bad things from happening to good people and so I wonder what good it is to have faith.? Maybe I don't understand the concept very well, but I have trouble turning to God for physical protection and for most anything else as my religious upbringing presented to me a God of severe punishment, judgment, and jealousy. When I was young I had great faith but lost my connection and faith. I'd like to return to that connection. Please pray that I will be restored to a healthy and proper relationship with God through Jesus.
