Ok, So I go to the doc tomorrow and I am so depressed. We reduced the risperdal from 6mg to 4 mg. We reduced the Effexor XR from 75mg to 37.5. I am so depressed. I know I have something wrong with me but have no clue what it is. Has anyone here been in this situation?

Hey. I was in that situation for many year and it only got worse. In the end it turned out my thyroid was ill, something many people with PTSD experience. Total long shot, but maybe check it out? An inexpensive bloodtest clears it up. Since I am on my thyroid medication I am alive.
I mention it because I also knew I was ill and something was wrong, and that turned out to be it. Hashimotos thyroditis. Intense fatigue and depression were some of the symptoms.

Have you ever been diagnosed bipolar? I know that, even with meds, I can suddenly go through terrible times of inner sadness and despair. I am just now starting to emerge from another "wave" that has lasted for over a week. It takes all of my personal coping skills and tricks to get through it.
