I was nervous about having my defibrillator replaced even though I had already had it replaced once. I kept reminding myself it went fine the prior time and at least I knew what to expect for recovery. Than I showed up there, was on the table and found out they did the procedure different now. They have you awake and it is more like how you are during a c section. The nurse told me she would be right there and just to look at her while they were doing it(though they had a sheet up) and that I would feel some pulling. Yes I felt panicky after that. Thankfully I fell asleep with the drugs they gave me and don't remember one bit of it! Did ask my doctor if I said or did anything stupid. He laughed and said next time he'll ask me embarrassing questions. That will teach me from asking.:laugh:
On a serious note, I will pray or hope that this is the one. The final treatment. And that you have a quick recovery. The shock of having all this done at the last minute must have been intense. Especially getting everything configured at work, etc.. I can't imagine.
Try to rest and allow your body to heal. I'm sure Anthony and Ted(okay forget Ted, from what I hear) will take great care of you.
