New Here
hello.
I'm new to all of this so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread I'm not sure I have dissociation but I do have acute anxiety I'm very confused tho I have had some symptoms I think but they aren't always in an order idk if they have to be like sometimes I have weakness and anxiety and other times I have blackouts and i have no idea what i was doing after those blackouts sometimes i get sick after i "wake up from them" i have no health issues that might cause that I've asked my doctor i do remember watching myself from the ceiling when i was a child, I'm not sure it's important enough to tell my therapist or if its normal or happens to everyone any advice or someone who can relate be would be nice also sorry for any poor English

Watching yourself from outside of your body is a type of dissociation. It would be a good idea to share your experiences with your therapist so that s/he can help you.

hello demon. welcome to the forum. sorry for what brings you here, but glad you are here.

my own dissociation comes in allot of flavors. the out-of-body flavor of dissociation (the sense of watching yourself from a distance) is not on my own list of flavors, but i have talked to quite a few sibs-in-healing who have had the "pleasure." my own tendency is to dig deeper into myself. i hide more often than i lose myself.

whatever the flavor/description, it is definitely worth a therapy session or 20.

Yeh I had this.
Except i had to go through anxiety>panic-attack>seizures>blackouts. To get there.
Till eventually straight to blackouts.

It's interesting you can go straight to blackouts. Is there any build up to the blackout, can you tell It's coming?
Can anyone around you tell you have had a blackout? can they notice the changes you go through be open to anything? This is where you can find someone else driving.

I'm so sorry you've experienced something like this
I'm not sure if there is any tells maybe there's anxiety I'll be on the lookout for anything odd and hopefully I can remember it some of my friends have told me i have voice changes or i didn't want to be around them because i didn't know who they were but sometimes it happens and i feel like me?
