I've been in anxiety for the past three weeks and wasn't getting anything done.

What did I do today that I can celebrate? I vacuumed. And I worked on learning Excel.

Well, I decided to go on a week-long vacation I had planned months ago but then decided not to take. It's causing a lot of anxiety, but I'm going to do it.

I had a very bad few days, but today I went to the store on my own to buy lunch after a Dr's appointment, while I waited to be picked up.
I haven't done either in a long time.

New blinds in the front windows. Bay front windows and had really old roman style blinds (cotton - with strings to raise and lower) that I put up when we bought the place - long enough ago the cotton is well - more than fragile....

So went with the wife and bought pull own blackouts AND put them up.

Finished evals for 2/6 of my classes. They are due in about 10 days. This is the earliest I have ever gotten to work on them— usually procrastinating to the last day and sweating it out. Am so proud of myself! Of my last 4 classes one is easy and the other three are big. I will try to do one big one tomorrow.

Computer stuff has been well......difficult and frustrating, where it used to0 be simple and fairly easy.

Command line work has been nearly impossible, remembering switches is really tough (-r, -m etc.)

BUT....got chron (scheduled) job backups for my media server set up. Yeah!

I had a really bad memory come up in my therapy session. My therapist asked me to tell him about it. I have a hard time saying the words to describe my trauma. It's difficult for me. He gives me the time and space to answer on my terms, or sometimes to not answer at all. This time I said the words out loud. Afterward I said more words... I told him that saying out loud actually helped me, and now I don't have to take it home with me. That's never happened before!! HUGE breakthrough!!

It's been 10 days since I spent money on anything other than groceries and medication, and laundry and it feels really good to see the balance in my bank account remain steady. Relieving, actually.
