Reviving an old thread!

Right now, as of two thirty in the morning, I'm craving homemade rosemary bread with a plate of olive oil with black pepper in it. Mmmmmm.

This has been one of the most triggery threads on here that I've read. So I'm making myself reply.

I'm craving chocolate. There's more but that's all I can cope with writing because the screen is blurring in front of me.

Funnel Cake sprinkled with Confectioners Sugar

A long time ago I carried my children to an amusement park while on vacation. One of the food vendors sold an item called a funnel cake. I swear it was so good I will never forget that taste! I rarely or never eat fried food and this is a cake type batter that is funneled using a circular motion into hot cooking oil. It's huge, about the size of a dinner plate. While still hot they sprinkle a heavy dowsing of confectioners sugar over it and hand it to you on a paper plate (with a fork - that you abandon and just start pigging out like a damn fool) while still hot. I was triggered in the POSITIVE regarding this memory, while watching TV and seeing a show with kids eating vendor type food like candied apples, pink cotton candy and taffy. I can't get this funnel cake think out of my head. It's a craving for sure!
