Sufferer Struggling Daily...finding Hope. Car Crash Trauma

Hi ... My name is Robin I have been suffering PTSD for 6 years or more... my husband/father of my two daughters, was killed in a car wreck I was rushed to the accident and had to witness his death and let me leave it at that.I have never joined a support group before so I don't really know how this all works.I had also been in 2 car wrecks prior so I have a car issue besides insomnia,nightmares,flashbacks,crying fits..ect It is nice to find a place for help and hope.

Hi Robin...welcome to the forum. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. How are your daughters doing?

I had a serious car accident in July. Then a few weeks later I started getting flashbacks, nightmares and insomnia. And then while I was driving I had a panic attack. So now I just drive around town - lucky my work is in town. I am currently taking CBT with a psychologist.

So what kind of driving issues are you having? Are you in therapy?
