Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice. I am a 40 year old woman. Single mother and banker my whole career. Back in August of 2016,I left my dream job as I was lured by money and more freedom. Well needless to say, the job was the worst decision I have ever made. I ended up working for a misogynistic, verbally abusive boss and quit after severe anxiety issues. I bounced back a month later and landed a job back at a bank and was just terminated on day 88 for no reason. Needless to say, I am traumatized and can't seem to rebound. I am educated, hardworking and didn't see this coming. Let me back track, in 2011, I lost my house in a tornado and shortly thereafter my marriage failed. Since then, I don't have the strength and clarity to get through this. I am a shell of myself, I cry all day, can't sleep and have terrible nightmares. I just don't know how to bounce back. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You didn't indicate if you have been diagnosed with PTSD or if you are in therapy. If not those are both good places to start. There is nothing wrong with reaching out for face-to-face help when things become overwhelming.
