I've read it, and I will vouch my name to the quality of this book as the single recommended source of insight and guidance on how to help your relationship.

I've seen a few posts recently with relationships, both here in supporters and in the PTSD relationship forums, looking for quality techniques and information. Well... this book is it. The forum contains a lot of the advice given in this book, though scattered around and hard to find. This book... all wrapped up and tidy. Get it on Kindle or Paperback and bookmark the hell out of pages that help you.

This is not just a book for supporters, but one that the sufferer should also read. If the sufferer won't read it, get them to atleast sit still, listen and let you read important aspects to them for discussion. That in itself gives you two answers, being a) your sufferer wants to help themselves by either reading or having important parts read, and b) it opens up a dialogue of communication to begin breaking away problematic barriers within the relationship.

I'm not saying it will fix all... but if you atleast break down the real major issues and get rid of those between you, then your relationship immediately gains a stronger foundation for future prosperity.

"Bible" in the title; is this written from a Christian perspective? Or "Bible" indicates: all that is known? Most trustworthy? Considered most important?
Thanks.

As a supporter, I found this the clearest and easiest reading on the topic that I've run across. This is by far, the best PTSD relationship book. Our copy has highlights and sticky notes all over it. It's a lifesaver... thank you @anthony for posting this. I forget to recommend this more than I should.

It's not religious... so no "pray the PTSD away" stuff in it, no offense to people who seek comfort in their faith.

@anthony
Do I sound religious to you?
Your ironic message clarified your position. :joyful: Thanks.

This forum has seemed to be neutral on religion, and hasn't suggested religious readings (which is important for me). Hence, the title with a religious related meaning caused me to pause, before I looked into the book.

Thanks everyone, for answering my question. The book sounds terrific!
