Being where you've been, but without the family to consider, I did learn this (not to add to Friday's but for a different reason): looking it up myself before, they said everyone who drowns (including by suicide) is found with their arms straight down & angled to the sides- their attempt at trying (too late) to save themself by instinctively pushing down (as though there was a surface) to try to propel themself out of the water.
