My determination to heal my panic attacks holistically and to understand the root of the problem led me to discover many different phenomena that occurred in my body and mind. What was an attempt to solve an issue which caused me discomfort led to totally new way of life and exposed new worlds in the process.

If I have to put the whole process in stages this is how I would do:

As this process was used for clearing panic attacks my understanding is you can apply them to any part of your lives. Whether you have been diagnosed with a serious illness or going through a challenge in your relationship, financial hardships and bankruptcy in the business. It can be applied to any of the life challenges as they are all same one way or the other. Whatever you do involves your mind and body and if you have a way to handle it, understands it better than anything external to us is easy to solve. If you win the war with yourself then outside reality reflects the inner victory

a. Initial fear: why me?

When life throws a challenge at us in the form of disease, financial hardship, relationship challenge the first response that we have is " why me"?

What actually happens here is we have disconnected ourselves from the universal beings and lived as a separate entity for a long time. So when this separate entity is in chaos, it first reacts like "what did I do wrong"?

This is very natural for many of to respond this way as that’s how we have grown up. Actually these challenges are in fact your stepping stone to major breakthroughs and lead you to the next stage of your life. They provide you pathways that were not available to you because of your living style and conditions you had so far.

Even though it’s easy to not get shocked the life challenges, we are all not saints. So let the initial shocks not drag us too long. But, what these shocks offer you is to change the internal being how you want to.

b. Blessing in disguise:

Every challenge is a blessing in disguise, whether you accept it or not. It would very hard for you to accept this fact when you are going through the challenge, but if you take a challenge that happened to you early in life and see how you responded you would see your response was unique to you. The wealth of the lessons learned irrespective of how painful, happy they were but you would have learned a lot about life, about you, about your understanding of the people involved in that challenge. So after you go through the initial shock to the system, see what was the blessing in disguise that has been offered to you. In order to find this you need to go a step deeper internally to find the blessing.

As the new challenge that was given to you does not let you react to the situation like a normal event, you react differently. If you don’t react differently, you would have not considered it as a challenge. Your body and mind reacts differently to the challenge. Now what is that makes you uncomfortable with a new situation?

The answer is you were not prepared for this challenge, you were not expecting this turn of event, that’s why you were shocked. Your perception of life and your perspectives didn’t have scenarios like this. This new scenario has thrown your old perspective of your life in disarray. So, what do you do now?

Very simple, look at the perspective challenge see where the change needs to be made in order to integrate the situation to your life.

c. Third step:

Acceptance: As a human, you are susceptible to all the challenge then there is a possibility of a facing that challenge in your life. However we try to protect ourselves we are always exposed. This is acceptance of the problem. This helps to handle the issue without much guilt, pain. As this understanding puts you in such a way that you don’t have to blame the situation, blame other person or worse blame yourself. You accept it as reality, the challenge thrown at you is part of your living experience. This is what I had signed up for and this is not the end of the world for me. This challenge will help you travel in a new direction and let you continue the journey that you have signed up in this life time.

Accepting is humility: Accepting needs an intelligent mind that wants to solve the challenge rather than trying to blame on others or postpone the pain which will in fact lead to a recurring pain. Also in this acceptance process, your ego is put in its own place. Now, you realize that you are not a separate entity that lives in universe rather you are connected all other beings that live on the earth. This acceptance breaks the wall that we built for ourselves. Not only does it break the barrier, it exposes the flaws that were in your old perspective. Acceptance helps you to go deep into your problem and to solve and heal your life.

The other challenge we have is that when we have a challenge or a problem; we assume that once it is solved all the other problems will go away. It is both true and false. If you solve the problem going to the root of the problem then the problem is solved and easier to deal with other problems, the root of the problem is always the same. If you didn’t solve the problem completely even though it would look like you came out of it, the problem will show up in different forms throughout your life. Only if you are aware that all the problems have the common root and can be solved at the root.

What were your panic/anxiety symptoms? How frequent were they? What has changed since you applied this solution? How long ago did you apply this as a solution? Which symptoms have diminished, and to what measurable extent?

Thanks for the insight

I can attest to the root of the problem. Every time, I think I have licked the insomnia and anxiety. Something else triggers its return. Acceptance of the problem and talking to others with the same problem seems to be a most logical starting point for me this time around. So I have joined this forum and in as little as 30 minutes have read some great ideas I want to try. Thanks guys. Sleeping only a little every other day but ready to defeat it. Chaz

Hello Promicarus,

Each one of us different symptoms, mine was feeling loss of control, breathing difficulties and racing heart.

I would consider it like pregrnancy, everyone going through pregnancy had different symptoms but the cause is the same. Also frequency started once a year to once a month to once a week and almost every day, this was for 2 years.

I am totally out of panic attacks and now instead of panic I get bliss, this was 2 years back. I literally life my life of joy...its a switch that made it happen...and it was spiritual.

Let me know if you would be interested to read my portion of manuscript I am working on.
