Other Twitching While Sleeping

My husband twitches, jerks and jumps in his sleep. He sweats profusely. He shouts out and swears and it is all very annoying for me. But He does not have PTSD (I do) and he has never been in the army. He has been checked out by the GP and there is nothing wrong ( other than his high blood pressure that is unrelated)

It must just be stress levels, it is truly awful trying to sleep with somebody when they are doing it. Maybe it's a man thing :-(

Hi lemontree, bloods back shows low phosphate, doctor wants to do test again to make sure, in case test was wrong. Googled it but no twitching side effect of low phosphate in any of the info online. he had really bad twitching the other night, woke me up at 1am and 2am kicking out.

What does low phosphate mean? I never heard of that.

I know (as a twitcher) that I do it right before I fall asleep, but up until now I had no idea I did it in my sleep I had to ask if I did. I can honestly say I had no idea, and I am sorry for this, I am actually apologizing as I am typing this to my SO. I have recently started my own path down healing and recovery. I have started writing, a novel, blogs, anything to get the demons out. On stronger nights, I am able to heal a bit and on nights where I am not so strong, I am comforted by the strong woman in my life. Thank you to all the strong women.

It can't be restful for people who twitch for hours my husband has some big jumps sometimes that wake him up and he bruised his foot on our old bed kicking in his sleep, it had a wooden footboard.
