I don't know why I find this so amusing------
I keep seeing commercials for refrigerators with built in cameras so that you can use your smartphone to see if you need something when you're away from home.
While I can see the potential benefit of such a feature, I can't help but think that companies add these random bells and whistles to push their products and convince people that they absolutely need a camera inside their fridge.
I guess the world will end if I don't know if I need eggs or milk, lol.
Oh no! What did I ever do before the days of having a camera in my fridge! And really, what is the use of having a camera in just my fridge? Shouldn't I put cameras in all of my kitchen cupboards, too? I think my dry goods would feel left out of being monitored, lol.
And half the time the camera would tell me nothing as food gets stacked on top of each other, is covered, or is in opaque containers so I wouldn't be able to tell if I needed something or not.
I know there are other technological innovations pushed on us which I have just scratched my head at before but this one------well lets just say it doesn't leave me clamoring for a new fridge, lol.
So are there any tech things which make you laugh or just leave you wondering why you'd REALLY need it? I know there are others I've wondered about over the years and I'll add them as I think of them.
I hope others can add to this thread so we can all have a good laugh!
