I know that there are other threads on find a friend in the area I'm requesting about and I noticed it is old. I'm not sure if it would be worth to leave comment.

I'm looking for other sufferers to make new friends with.

It is hard to find someone who has similar experience and understand its PTSD. It is hard to share with someone who is supporter or non-sufferer.

Hi,
I'm in Rockville. Been in almost every hospital around here and DC, including the Day Center at PIW, as well as their outpatient program. I don't remember any of them being from this area though. I tend to isolate and get afraid of telling people why I'm on disability and sleep so much because they say dumb things like, "were you in the military?" or "you get paid to sleep??
